Once a year, the RH2INE partners meet with public and private stakeholders at the RH2INE conference. The aim is to further strengthen the joint cooperation and exchange information on new advances.
The RH2INE Conference: An Important Forum for Exchange
This year again, more than 100 experts will meet in The Hague to exchange information on current European projects, developments and milestones achieved in the use of hydrogen as an alternative propulsion system in European inland navigation.
In workshops with ports, skippers and regions, the participants work out solutions for current project challenges, such as the transformation of freight shipping and the development of a hydrogen infrastructure in ports.
The results of these workshops are later presented to the other participants. In addition, lectures and discussion formats take place in which, among others, the Minister of the Province of South Holland Jeanette Baljeu will discuss with Michael Theben, Head of the Climate Protection Department in the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Action and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia about the role of hydrogen as an alternative fuel for EU inland navigation.
